Plotline Invest is a small, invite-only marketplace connecting Johannesburg estate agents with a vetted room of property investors. We surface distressed and below-market listings before they hit the public portals.
Most South African "off-market" property lists are chaotic group chats with hundreds of agents and no one checking anything. By the time a deal reaches a serious investor, it has already been shopped, marked up, or misrepresented several times over. We built Plotline to run the opposite way.
Our approach
Every listing is submitted by a registered agent with a required distress reason and comparable pricing. A human reviews it before it goes live. AI adds neutral context — indicative yields, comparable price ranges, and what still needs verifying — but never tells you what to buy.
Where we are
We're a pilot, not a platform yet. One city — Johannesburg. One admin. Real deals. We take no commission on transactions; agents and investors connect directly through the platform.

№ 006 — Founder's statement
I built Plotline for the deals I wish I had seen five years ago.
I've spent years watching serious South African investors miss the best opportunities — not because the deals aren't out there, but because the pipeline is broken. Distressed listings get whispered between the same twenty agents. By the time an investor hears about them, the price has moved twice.
Plotline is my attempt to fix that room. One city, invite-only, every listing read by a human before it reaches you. No blast emails. No commission for the agents who list here. Just cleaner information about property that would otherwise never make it to a portal.
We're small on purpose. If we can prove that quality still means something in Johannesburg, we'll take it elsewhere. Until then, thank you for taking the platform seriously.
