2. Information we collect
- Account information — name, email address, and role (agent or investor) when you sign up.
- Profile photo (optional) — a photo you may upload with your application or from your profile page. Photos are stored privately, visible only to us during review and to matched parties once you are approved and active on the Platform. You can remove or replace it at any time.
- Profile details — company, contact number, PPRA number (agents), investment thesis and preferences (investors), and an optional short bio.
- Listing content — property information, photos, and pricing submitted by agents.
- Interaction data — favourites, inquiries, and messages exchanged on the Platform.
- Technical data — basic session and device information required to run the service.
3. How we use it
- To operate the Platform and match investors to relevant listings.
- To review submissions and maintain the quality of the marketplace.
- To notify agents and investors of new listings, inquiries, and responses.
- To communicate about the service and important account activity.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Listing information becomes visible to approved investors on the Platform. Agent contact details are shared with an investor only after they submit a serious inquiry. We use trusted infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
5. Security
We use industry-standard controls including encrypted transport, row-level database security, and access controls. No online service is entirely risk-free — please use a strong, unique password.
6. Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as required to provide the service. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us; we will comply subject to any legal record-keeping obligations.
7. Your rights (POPIA)
Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to object to processing. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.
8. Cookies
We use only essential cookies required to keep you signed in and to make the site work. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users.
